The story of linen goes a long way back as it is one of the oldest textile with a long-lasting quality that over times, only gets softer and softer while it keeps its strong character. The production of linen doesn't make any harm to nature, as the growing plant doesn't exhaust the soil. Linen plants grow quickly, so there is no need to feed the plants or to treat with pesticides as you do with many other plants used for textiles production. All items produced from linen are biogradable.
