Originally baskets like this are used as a cage for poultry in Vietnamese marketplaces. Tine saw it and developed and further designed all our Basopen baskets.
At tinekhome, we also use the baskets as lampshades. Turn it upside down and hang it on a socket - then you have a decorative lamp that provides a cozy light.
