La Granja Ibiza
A farmstead set among Ibiza’s pastoral inlands, La Granja is a members-only retreat—the first such experiment by Design Hotels™—launched in collaboration with Friends of a Farmer, an international association devoted to the cultivation of art, crops and inner gardens.
Converting the once-private residence was more an act of preservation than of transformation. Dreimeta design studio highlighted the structure’s weather-worn imperfections, imbuing the space with an aching elegance.
The property, which includes a nine-guestroom farmhouse, a freestanding, two-bedroom guesthouse, a pool and kitchen, embraces both the heritage of the farmhouse and its inherent connection to the land, while honoring rustic simplicity, growth and decay, modesty and transience.
